OSHA Scaffold Inspector-Specialist

Utilizing a scaffold on the construction or general activity for any reason requires specific involvement with several types of trained individuals. This course is designed for such individuals. A competent scaffold person is responsible for at a minimum, daily inspection and documentation of the condition of the scaffold and its ability to be occupied safely.; designing and preplanning of the scaffold including weight limitations, scaffold type, fall protection, tie-offs, supports, etc; overseeing the erection of the scaffold; conducting a final inspection of the scaffold prior to initial occupation for use; inspecting scaffolds after changes / alterations have been made; oversight and inspections of mobile scaffolds; training  other competent persons, scaffold erectors, and users.
